Did you know one in four unhoused Oregonians are over age 55?

Oregon’s population is aging and the demand for senior services is rising, yet critical funding and resources are being cut. Many of our senior neighbors are losing access to the supports that keep them housed, healthy, and independent.

Faye is one of those neighbors. She’s waiting on a double knee replacement and struggles to manage her home and yard alone. When her husband passed, she wasn’t sure how to keep up or where to turn. Then she met Natalia, one of our Senior Advocates, and found the ally she needed.

“My husband took care of everything, so I had no idea what to do,” she says. “Natalia helped me with food when I needed it… legal assistance… she helps with everything I ask for.”
