Our workshops are for EVERYONE including those beginning their social justice journey or those at the advanced level looking to further their activism practice.
Covering topics from sexism and domestic violence, racism, poverty, inclusivity, sex and gender, and more, our expert teachers and facilitators explain how modern-day forms of oppression persist and explore our roles in dismantling or perpetuating them.
Our anti-racism and social justice trainings are part of an intentional, nation-wide strategy led by YWCA USA and are taught by trainers with diverse lived experiences and intersectional identities relevant to the topics they teach.

Domestic Violence Advocacy Certification
YWCA offers the 40-hour training necessary to become a Domestic Violence Advocate. This training ensures that the needs of domestic violence Survivors has been met and served through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens.

Anti-Racism Practice Certification
Through our 2 week Anti-Racism Practice Certification, we encourage learners at all levels of their social justice journey to join us in deepening understanding to better show up for our community and create a more inclusive society together.
