Peer Support Advocate (Bilingual, English/Spanish) - Communities of Restoration & Healing
Do you believe that knowledge can support change and improve a life? Are you passionate about helping people achieve their goals? Are you a team builder who understands that many hands achieve great things?
The YWCA of Greater Portland provides shared housing to domestic violence survivors through our Communities of Restoration and Healing (CoRH). In this role, you will be a certified Peer Support Advocate helping survivors on your caseload with healing, recovery, and self-sufficiency. You will contribute significantly to the YWCA’s mission by using your own experience to walk with program participants as they work to rebuild their lives.
Fluency in both English & Spanish is required for this position.

InReach Advocate
Are you a creative problem solver committed to empowering and supporting survivors? Are you passionate about helping survivors of domestic and / or sexual violence to secure permanent housing? Are you dedicated to working across organizations and systems to advocate with survivors?
YWCA of Greater Portland helps domestic violence survivors navigate systems and attain safe and stable housing as part of YWCA USA, the largest and oldest provider of domestic violence support services in the world. In this role, you will support survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence to access housing. The Domestic Violence Advocate will be on a mission to support vulnerable survivors with trauma-informed and survivor-centered services.

Therapeutic Services Intern
Are you passionate about working with trauma survivors, specifically survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence? Are you interested in providing client-centered, trauma-informed clinical assessment, psychotherapy, and case management to vulnerable members of our community?
Our clinical program provides outpatient mental health services as part of the Survivor Services program of the YWCA of Greater Portland. It is a clinical program designed to provide individual and group psychotherapy services to adult survivors who are participants in our program. We seek to expand health services for survivors, and to provide social work students with highly clinical training and experience working with domestic violence and treating trauma.
